Summary
Privacy Policy for Brillira IQ
is an offline exam-practice app. It has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and it does not collect, send or share your personal information. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. In particular, we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data, device identifiers or advertising IDs.
The app does not need an internet connection and does not send data to any server.
Data stored on your device
To work properly, the app saves some information locally on your device (in the app's private storage). It never leaves your device:
- Quiz progress: number of questions answered and correct, and best scores.
- Your settings: language (English/Hindi), sound, theme (system, light or dark), haptics and timer preferences.
- Rapid Maths and India Map Quiz best scores.
- Mental Math Workout data: practice sessions, accuracy and speed per topic, streaks, and a list of questions you answered incorrectly.
You can delete Mental Math Workout data any time from Mental Math > Settings > Reset progress & high scores. You can delete all app data by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.
Permissions
The app does not request any sensitive permissions (such as location, camera, microphone, contacts or storage). It plays sound effects and may use your device's haptic feedback (vibration) if you leave it turned on in settings.
Third-party services
The app does not use advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or any other third-party service that collects data. It uses open-source software libraries that run entirely on your device. The India map graphic is based on map data from MapSVG, licensed under CC BY 4.0, and is bundled inside the app.
Children's privacy
The app is made for students and job aspirants preparing for exams and is not directed to children under 13. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Data security
We have no servers and receive none of your data, so there is nothing for us to store or protect on our side. Data saved on your device is protected by your device's own security (for example, your screen lock and Android's app sandboxing).
Your choices
You are in control of your data. You can reset Mental Math Workout progress inside the app, clear all app data from your device settings, or uninstall the app to remove everything it has stored.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects privacy (for example, if we ever add ads or analytics), we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date below, and we will describe the change in the app's release notes.
